What was the highlight of Village du Pecheur
Corner of paradise in Praslin
Thanks to the hotel manager, we were upgraded to the deluxe room with ocean view, and we liked everything about our permanence. The building design is very nice and the position is great. I have to say that this hotel is much more private with respect to others. We enjoyed the breakfast, both quality and portions. The dinner choice is not huge, but the quality is really good. The staff is helpful and always ready to come with solutions in case of need (e.g. they gave us take away breakfast for the last day as we left early in the morning). I personally recommend this place.

What was the highlight of Village du Pecheur
We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay.
The hotel has a wonderful location, right on the beach, next to shops and close to public transport. The staff was friendly and and always willing to help. It's not a big hotel, but this makes it more fitable in the landscape. This is what I liked from the beggining. Breakfast and dinner were fine. I've allways found something to eat. For those with half board there was a special menu, a la carte, with 2 choses of each dish, for the rest, there were plenty options to chose from the menu, and the food was tasty. We had a room in the building across the street from the reception. The room had a classic design, but it was kept clean.
The bathroom needs some renovations and a shower courtin would help in preventing the water to spread all over.

Nice but not special
comfortable bed, quiet, easy access to the lovely beach from the terrace, nice breakfast
The dinner was ok, however selection from seafood meals was limited (not everything on the menu was available), my husband was a bit dissapointed with the "chewy" lamb he had for the dinner. The room with seaview (ground floor) itself was nice, but it had this unpleasant stale smell from the moment we came in. I think its a bit overpriced compared to other 4 types of accomodation we have had on SCH during this stay. the electricity went off in the whole island/area/ and this hotel did not provide any candles/alternative of light.

What was the highlight of Village du Pecheur
Worth if you like enjoying the beach!
5 steps away from the beach make the space perfect for those who wish to enjoy the sun and the activities like visiting other islands by boat or snorkelling.
From a cost/quality perspective, Village du Pecheur got us wanting a bit more from the space. Breakfast was ok but with not much variety (juice not natural at all...). We stayed in a room close to the street which you can hear some noise until late evening and then again early morning. The bathroom was not very clean when we arrived with sand in the floor. Prices are expensive as with most of restaurants in Seychelles, which lead most tourists to look for food in street take-aways.
